- Add turkey or chicken (diced or ground) to stew. Enjoy as is or put in pie crust or puff pastry shell. Makes one deep dish or two 9” pies. Or simply put biscuits on top and bake. Can also be made into a Shepard’s pie. Just add mashed potatoes to the top of mixture, and bake for 20-25 minutes.
